Terms of Service.
Yes, this is the document you scroll past on most websites. We'd ask you to actually read this one — not because we're going to surprise you with anything sneaky in clause 47, but because gambling is regulated, money is involved, and an account at Kingmaker is a binding agreement between you and us.
These Terms of Service set out the rules for using aukingmaker.com. They explain who can register, how accounts work, what we can and cannot do with your money, what happens when something goes wrong, and how you can complain if you think we've messed up. They apply from the moment you click 'Register' and continue until your account is closed.
Who can use Kingmaker
Kingmaker Casino is for adults only. You must be of legal gambling age in your province — that's 19 in most provinces, 18 in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec. We verify age during KYC and reject any account where age verification fails. Misrepresenting your age is a breach of these terms and may also violate provincial gambling law.
You must also be a resident of a jurisdiction where online gambling at internationally licensed casinos is permitted. Online gambling regulation in Canada is provincial, and rules vary. It is your responsibility to know whether your local laws allow you to use this service. We do not provide legal advice on the question; if you're unsure, consult a lawyer in your province. We reserve the right to refuse service in any jurisdiction where we cannot lawfully operate.
- You meet the legal gambling age in your province (19+ generally, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec), with documentary proof available for KYC.
- You are a natural person registering on your own behalf — no company accounts, no nominee accounts.
- You are not on any self-exclusion register administered by a provincial regulator (such as Ontario's My PlayBreak).
- You are not a current or former employee of Kingmaker, our software providers, our payment processors, or any of our regulators.
- You are not located in a jurisdiction where we have explicitly stated we cannot serve customers — the current list is available from support on request.
Your account
One person, one account. Multiple accounts are not allowed and we will close all of them, void any bonus winnings, and refund only verified deposits if we detect duplicates. This is not a Kingmaker invention; it's standard across every licensed casino because multiple accounts let people abuse welcome bonuses.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We recommend a strong unique password and enabling two-factor authentication from your account settings. If someone else accesses your account because you shared your password or left a session unattended, we treat any plays or withdrawals from that session as your own. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and contact support immediately.
Your account is personal and non-transferable. You cannot sell it, gift it, or operate it on someone else's behalf. We may at any time ask you for further identity verification — including a video call — to confirm you are the person who registered. Accounts that fail re-verification will be locked.
Identity verification (KYC)
Before we can pay out any winnings, we must verify your identity. This is required by Canadian anti-money-laundering law (PCMLTFA) and our Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence. You provide a government-issued photo ID and a recent proof of address; we cross-check them through accredited verification providers.
We may also request additional documentation at any point — for example, if your deposit method changes, if a withdrawal is significantly larger than your usual play history, or if our risk systems flag the account for review. Refusing to provide reasonable documentation when asked may result in your account being suspended until verification completes.
If you provide false information at registration or during KYC, we may close the account, void any pending withdrawals, and report the matter to FINTRAC where there are reasonable grounds to suspect financial crime. Verified deposits are returned to source in such cases unless we are required by law to hold them pending investigation.
Deposits and withdrawals
All deposits and withdrawals are denominated in Canadian Dollars unless you explicitly select a different currency at deposit. Currency conversion, where it occurs, uses the wholesale interbank rate plus a small spread; the exact rate is shown on the cashier page before you confirm.
Minimum first deposit is C$ 20. Minimum subsequent deposit is C$ 10. Maximum deposit per transaction is C$ 5,000 — larger amounts can be made through multiple transactions. Maximum withdrawal per single request is C$ 10,000; if your balance exceeds this, you can request multiple withdrawals.
Withdrawals are processed via the same channel as your deposits (closed-loop rule). This is required by anti-money-laundering law: money must leave the way it came in. The first withdrawal on any new account triggers manual KYC review and typically completes within 24 hours; subsequent withdrawals are usually automated and arrive within our published median of under six hours.
We do not charge fees on deposits or withdrawals. Your payment provider may, and we disclose any pass-through fees on the cashier page before you confirm. Refunds and chargebacks initiated through your payment provider may result in your account being suspended pending investigation — please contact support first if you have a billing dispute.
Bonuses, promotions, and wagering requirements
Bonuses are optional. You can decline any bonus before it activates, and you can also withdraw your deposit at any time without claiming a bonus — but doing so cancels any active bonus including its associated free spins.
All bonuses carry wagering requirements. The standard requirement is 35× the combined value of deposit and bonus, calculated from the moment the bonus credits to your account. Some promotions specify different requirements; the exact figure is shown on the bonus terms page before you opt in.
Specific rules apply to bonus play. You cannot exceed C$ 5 per spin or hand while wagering is active — bets above this void the bonus and any winnings derived from it. Different game types contribute differently to wagering: slots typically count 100%, table games and live dealer 10–20%, certain titles 0%. The full contribution table is published on the bonus terms page.
We monitor for bonus abuse — patterns including but not limited to: low-risk betting strategies on near-zero-edge games, multiple accounts, coordinated play across accounts, and bonus farming. Confirmed abuse results in voiding bonus winnings and potentially closing the account. We notify affected accounts before taking action where the situation allows.
Game rules and fairness
All games on Kingmaker are licensed from third-party studios — Pragmatic Play, Evolution, NetEnt, Microgaming, Play'n GO, Quickspin, BGaming, and others — and run on independently certified random number generators. RNG certification is performed by iTech Labs or eCOGRA, and certificates are available on request.
Each game's RTP (Return to Player percentage) is published in its info panel. RTP is a long-run statistical measure, not a session guarantee. Over enough rounds the maths favours the house; in any individual session you can win or lose any amount up to your balance.
If a game malfunctions during play — connection drop, server error, software bug — the round is voided and any stakes are returned. We rely on server-side records as the authoritative outcome. If the game provider's records show a different result from what your screen displayed, the provider records prevail.
Live dealer games are subject to additional rules published in each game's info panel — including standard procedures for misdeals, false spins, and chip placement disputes. These rules are set by the game provider, not by us, and they apply uniformly to all players at all licensed casinos using that platform.
Prohibited conduct
The following are not allowed on Kingmaker. Any of them may result in account closure, void winnings, and potentially referral to law enforcement:
- Using the service while underage or while self-excluded under any provincial scheme.
- Using a VPN, proxy, or other technical means to misrepresent your country or province of residence.
- Operating multiple accounts, or registering an account on behalf of another person.
- Colluding with other players — sharing hand information, dumping chips, or coordinating bets to gain an unfair advantage.
- Using third-party software, bots, or scripts to automate play or analyse game outcomes in real time.
- Attempting to exploit software bugs rather than reporting them to support. Good-faith bug reports are welcomed and may be eligible for goodwill credits.
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or any conduct that could expose us to PCMLTFA liability.
- Harassment of support staff, dealers, or other players. We reserve the right to close any account where the holder behaves abusively.
- Charging back deposits without first attempting to resolve the issue with our support team.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, game artwork, software, audio — is owned by Kingmaker or licensed to us by third parties. You may view it for personal use as part of using the service. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or use any of it for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
The Kingmaker name, logo, and visual identity are our trademarks. Game titles and game-specific artwork remain the property of their respective studios. Nothing in these terms grants you any licence to use trademarks beyond what's necessary to use the service as intended.
Liability and disclaimers
We do our best to keep the service operating without interruption, but we make no guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or fit for any specific purpose. Scheduled maintenance is announced where possible; emergency maintenance may not be. We are not liable for any losses caused by downtime that we have taken reasonable steps to avoid.
Our maximum liability to you under these terms — for any claim arising from your use of the service — is limited to the amount of your account balance at the time the claim arises. This limit does not apply where it would be unenforceable under applicable provincial consumer protection law.
We are not liable for losses arising from your own decisions, including but not limited to: gambling losses incurred during normal play, losses from chasing losses, losses from declining to use available responsible-play tools, or losses caused by sharing your account credentials. The decision to gamble, and how much, is yours.
Disputes and complaints
If something has gone wrong, the fastest resolution is usually live chat. Median response time is under a minute and most issues — credited bonuses not appearing, deposits taking longer than expected, withdrawal queries — are resolved on the spot. Email support typically replies within 12 hours.
If we cannot resolve a complaint to your satisfaction, you can escalate through three channels:
- Formal written complaint to our complaints officer at the email address below. We acknowledge written complaints within 5 business days and provide a substantive response within 28 days.
- Independent dispute resolution through our regulator, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. Their complaints process is published at gamingcommission.ca, and they review unresolved player disputes free of charge.
- Civil action in a court of competent jurisdiction. These terms are governed by the laws of the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake (Quebec, Canada), and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms restricts your right to bring an action in your home province where provincial consumer law confers that right.
Account closure and termination
You can close your account at any time by contacting support. Any positive balance is paid out via your last verified withdrawal method before the account is locked. If you have a problem with gambling, request self-exclusion instead — closure is reversible (you can re-register later), self-exclusion is not.
We may close or suspend your account where you breach these terms, where we are required to by a regulator or court, or where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud or money laundering. Where lawfully permitted, we will notify you of the reason and any opportunity to remedy the breach. Verified deposits are returned to source unless we are required by law to hold them.
After closure, we retain your account data for seven years as required by anti-money-laundering law. After that period it is deleted or anonymised. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms when the law changes, when we change how the service works, or when we realise something could be clearer. The 'last updated' and 'effective from' dates at the top of this page tell you the current version.
Material changes — anything that materially affects your rights or obligations — are notified to registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree to the changes, you can close your account before the new terms take effect; continuing to use the service after that date is your acceptance of the updated terms. Smaller changes (typo fixes, clarifications) are made silently. The full version history is available on request.
Governing law and miscellaneous
These terms are governed by the laws of the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake. The Kahnawake Gaming Commission is our regulator. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer protection right under your home province's law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. A failure to enforce a right under these terms is not a waiver of that right. The English version of these terms is the binding version; translations are provided for convenience only.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any bonus-specific terms you've accepted, are the complete agreement between you and Kingmaker concerning your use of the service. They supersede any prior agreement or understanding on the same subject.
